Job Description:

As the national head of a bancassurance division for a health insurance company, your role would encompass overseeing the company's health insurance distribution through banking channels across the country. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks you might handle:

Partnership Management: Building and nurturing relationships with partner banks to ensure effective distribution of health insurance products through their channels. This involves negotiating contracts, addressing concerns, and fostering collaboration.
Product Development: Working with product development teams to create health insurance products tailored for bancassurance distribution, considering factors such as customer preferences, pricing, and regulatory compliance.
Sales and Distribution: Overseeing sales activities and distribution channels to meet revenue targets and market penetration goals. This includes providing support to bank staff, training programs, and implementing sales incentives.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to health insurance sales and distribution. Managing risks associated with bancassurance operations, such as regulatory changes and market fluctuations.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of bancassurance operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures as needed.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the health insurance sector. Using market insights to refine strategies and enhance competitiveness.
