Job Description:

Job Purpose
 He/She will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the
specified timelines and budget constraints.
 Interfacing with the banking operations teams.
 This role requires a strong background in IT project management, particularly in the
banking sector, with a focus on delivering solutions that enhance operational
efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.

Experience Needed

 Candidate should have relevant experience with banking Operations business.
 Should have done atleast 2 end to end project implementation of varying nature.
 Should have basic understanding of the process, workflows, policies and interfaces
of the systems. Technically should be sound to understand the technology
architecture, design framework and control flow of the
applications/products/systems.
 Good understanding of the Banking domain is a must. Assist in the definition of
project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring
technical feasibility of the systems.
 IT program/portfolio management, Stake holder management, Resource planning
and management, business analysis, strategy, vendor management & governance.
Process improvement experience bridging business and IT in various facets of
Banking. Ability to work in Waterfall, agile & Hybrid frameworks and to educate team
members and stakeholders.
 Prepare BRD, FSD, Project/Program Plan, Idenitify and migitate Risk, Issues &
Dependencies. Ability to draw consensus from stakeholders across the board and
drive decision making Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the
flawless execution of projects Status reporting to various stakeholders (Product
Owners, Senior Leadership, QA Teams, Cyber and Software Security and
Performance testing teams)
 Should Understand Financial governance w.r.t estimations, budgeting, forcasting,
participate in the procure to pay process. Manage and coach a team for the
succesful delivery of the projects & programs.

 "Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector on various
banking systems
 Experience of all phases of Project management.
 Tracking of the project from BRD, Evaluation of the products in the market,
Estimation from Vendor, Obtaining relevant signoff from the stakeholders, tracking
from release to user signoff & Production implementation.
 Creates and Maintains Project Plans: Develops, and continually updates, detailed
project/program management plans, Work breakdown structures based on the
project objectives and scope.
 Prepares status reports to convey project scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk,
status, change requests, and critical issues to the management.
 Ensures PM methodology is adhered to Manage changes to the project scope,
project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification measures and
techniques Work with appropriate IT and business stakeholders to define, prioritize
and manage the pipeline of potential Projects.
 Provide Overall Project Administration: Participates in program team meetings,
proactively documents meeting minutes, track issues, decisions and action items,
and follow-up between meetings to drive issues to closure.
 Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and various IT
groups Conducts Risk Management: Maintains documentation for identified risks
and mitigation strategies. Proactively gathers and updates risk status and
documentation as needed.
 Play critical role in facilitating the adoption and increase of usage of various digital
platforms. Understands the banking operations inlcuding end of day, start of day,
CTS, DEM, NACH, Dedupe, Reconciliation, card operations, KYC, Liability
Operations.
 Finds solutions for problems and aids to the progress of the project and delivery
Esclates in a timely fashion to get the required attention and help needed to bring
focus to the project delivery Manages documents required knowledge and trains the
Production support team as needed for BAU handover Conducts lesssons learnt
sessions, improves upon the gap areas and shares the best practices (knowledge
sharing) Should have knwoledge on Application architure, Integration with
Infrastructure (Compute Storage and Databases) Broad understanding SOAP and
REST API and communication protocol Should have knowledge on any of Backend
technologies like Java/Spring boot etc Hands on capability to query databases is a
plus"budget
